One of the biggest mistakes of leaders is merely coaching an employee without even identifying or profile his/her subordinate. During our sessions, that’s one take away i got equipped up to this day and used in coaching some behaviors. Today I just don’t coach just because I need to correct a behavior, but before I conduct the coaching, I should know and understand first the employee as to why behavior is like that before I do my personalized coaching. Also, not to boast but I'm being acknowledged by my agents because of this and most of them realized the benefit they get.
